Arab Media Observer interviews Yemeni activist and co-founder of #SupportYemen campaign, Sarah Jamal about her assessment of the international and local media coverage of the US covert war in Yemen.

“I haven’t heard the news of a drone strike hitting Yemen  unless something big happens…”, says Sarah Jamal . According to her, international media coverage of the drones is  limited to the US perspective and to the killing of “terrorism suspects”.  But, civilian casualties are only dealt with as “collateral damage”, she states. At the end of the interview, Jamal invites journalists to “come and see for themselves what a drone strike does” to civilians.
